Here are the pictures of Rhett in Disney Land. I posted the more extended family pictures on my main website (http://butler2006.blogspot.com). Beware of the many pictures of Rhett on the carousel. He absolutely LOVED it!
Below, Rhett was excited to hold the Dumbo feather as we waited to get on the Dumbo ride.
Rhett's FIRST ride on the carousel. He was pretty excited.
This was the view I saw anytime Rhett got around stairs. He has an obsession -- to the point that he throws fits if he sees stairs and can't get to them.
Watching the scenery on the Mark Twain riverboat -- at least I was. Rhett was more interested in watching the water!
On the island in the middle of Disney Lake and Rhett sitting on a pile of "gold".
Sporting the ears!
Rhett and Daddy -- Rhett's still waking up...
This was a picture perfect moment. He was always so patient waiting out turn to get on the rides.
The Toon Town jail -- Rhett could WALK through those bars --if he could walk. He held on because it was the only think holding him up!
Check out the strength!!!
More stairs on Donalds boat....
Mickey's piano
John is not excited about the ferris wheel in California adventure -- especially when I wanted to go on the swaying cages. But he loves me enough to humor me... and he SURVIVED!
The mid-day view of Rhett -- that and right around the time we decide to eat!
We stayed for the fireworks and Fantasmik on the Disney Lake. Rhett made it through the fireworks, but was LONG gone while we waited for Fantasmik to begin.
He loved his ride on Casey Jrs train ride!
This was John and Rhett in the morning -- everyone else jumping to go to DisneyLand and Rhett and John only interested in sleep and cuddling!
Strike a pose!
Lightney McQueen and Tow-Mater. This is one of the few Disney movies we own. Rhett won't sit through it though... Guess it's not a bad thing -- he's not much of a television guy.
The first visit to Mickey's Rhett was fast asleep so we had to come back. It wasn't quite the experience it was when we took Rhett at 6 months old, but it was still fun. I caught it on video (see below)
By the end of our Disney trip, Rhett had rode on the Carousel enough we decided to let him ride alone. He loved it and knew to keep holding on the bar.
