Tunk-or-Treating

We went trunk-or-treating over at the ward and it was HUGE. the entire parking lot was full of cars to go trick-or-treating at (there are three wards that go to the church and we think that all three were there.) There were so many cars, it took us over an hour just to go through the entire parking lot. Surprisingly, everybody from all three wards knew Rhett, and everybody loves him.

He was so cute in his penguin costume, he even waddled like a penguin. One of his favorite movies is Happy Feet (he loves the music), so he loved being a penguin, and he kept the costume on the entire time (a lot better than the constant tugging of last year.) He loved going up to a person and yealling at the top of his lungs TRICK-OR-TREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAT (he would keep saying treat until somebody gave him candy.) For being such a little guy, he made his presence known.

It was so much fun, and Rhett really liked it because it hit high on his "Ha" meter. If we want to know if Rhett is having fun, we ask, and he replies "Ha!" If he is having a lot of fun he replies "Ha! Ha!" After trunk-or-treating, he replied "Ha! Ha! Ha!" He had so much fun he didn't want to leave, and honestly we were having so much fun we didn't want to leave either. HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

Carving Pumpkins

Grandma Butler gave us a pumpkin last time we went and visited them and we decided to carve it. Rhett loved it and actually carved the entire pumpkin (with a little help from daddy). After we carved out a piece, he loved poking it out. He also did a pretty good job using the pumpkin knife on his own to cut - the cuts just weren't very straight - that's why I helped. Not too bad for a two year old!
