Be the penguin

Rhett likes Happy Feet. Saria and him went to the zoo, again, and he tried to become a penguin. He got pretty close.

"You can't eat me, I'm a penguin." -Mumbo

Playing at the park

Saria took Rhett to the park. He went down the slide and played in the sandbox. He had to take a bath that night and brought back most of the sand in his hair. While scrubbing it our of his hair, at least he got a good scalp exfoliation.

Tractor

While at the zoo, they had a tractor.Rhett liked climbing on it and pretending to ride it

Dyeing Easter Eggs

We dyed Easter Eggs with Rhett and he had a blast. We got two sets from the store, one was the traditional put-the-egg-in-the-glass and the other came with paint rollers to paint the egg.

Rhett could use the paint rollers really ready and had a blast doing it. The dye glasses though, were a little harder. He wanted to put the eggs in, take them out, and then dry them in a paper towel. I'm surprised he only dropped one egg, but we had several close encounters!

Feeding the goats

While at the Madison zoo, they had an area where we could feed goats. Rhett loved it.

Carousel

We went to the Madison Zoo and Rhett had to ride the carousel. He loves riding them, and you can tell by the smile on his face that he had a good time. He also loves to roar like lions and tigers, so he spent his time roaring on the carousel.

Saria had a great time trying to get on her animal, considering she's eight months pregnant and struggles to left her legs high or bend over to pick something up or tie her shoes. But they both had fun.

Pine wood derby

Rhett and I raced our pine wood derby cars. Neither one of us did very well, but we had fun making them and we had fun racing them.

I made a rocket and I let Rhett paint it, unfortunantly while spinning it I nicked the axels so the wheels didn't stay on the rocket. Rhett raced the car he made at Home Depot and it didn't go very far down the track. But we had fun!
